Studio apartments are only for short term renting?
In the mind of most people, the studio apartment is linked exclusively to short-term rental and is exploited only for turistic reasons. This opinion is certainly valid and substantiated but only partially represents the present reality. By definition, a studio apartment is the ideal space for a visitor who is probably coming from another country and wants an organized, comfortable and familiar space that will give him the feeling of home when he is away from home. But to what extent is it possible or impossible for someone to consider a studio apartment as their home? It is not at all impossible if we first consider the surface of a studio apartment. In Greece, a studio apartment means a space from 25 to 45 sq.m. As we understand, it is a space in which there is a bathroom and a single kitchen-bedroom-living room area. Surely, if we think about a studio apartment of such size, of ergonomic character and smart aesthetics we can find several people who would be interested in making it their home for a long time. From people who live alone or even people who want to live in areas where large apartments have no place (city center) to people who want to have as their home something completely controlled both financially and organizationally. Based on statistics, the demand for renting studio apartments on a long-term basis is increasing in the Athenian capital, making the product of the studio apartment extremely sought-after and particularly flexible for the ever-changing demands of the housing market.
